Practices and Issues in English Language Teacher Development covers the current practices and issues that concern English language teachers and their development as professionals. These practices entail issues that are very much pertinent to the fundamental elements of teacher development such as communities of practices, assessment for training inventions, in-service training (INSET) programmes, the meaning of becoming an English Language Teacher, policies related to teacher development and teacher identity.
